In the fall of 2014, I was invited to the “Fall Festival” at the Oshtemo Branch of the Kalamazoo Branch of the Kalamazoo Public Library.  Kids, parents and grandparents joined me with songs and stories of “Lucky Lindy”, ” The Big Strong Handsome Raccoon”, “Let’s Go Fishing Now” and other songs.

Elementary School Show

With these elementary students, I shared my story about my little rescue dog, "Lucky Lindy", fishing with my grandson and my dad, my cats that dance and many more. The stories cause the listeners to think about the people and events in their own lives.

During the song, "There's a Bunny in My Backyard", students point and shout, "There he goes!" We enjoy seeing wildlife in the city and in the country.

Kalamazoo Foster Grandparents

Foster Grandparents are a gift to the students.  There were eleven Foster Grandparents in my building.  I was please d to have the opportunity to share my songs with this group of Foster Grandparents.  They proved themselves to be kids as heart.

Oshtemo Library Summer Reading Kick-off

Recently, we played at the Oshtemo Library just outside of Kalamazoo.  There was well over a hundred and fifty people attending with picnic dinners and the works.  It was a great event and we enjoyed ourselves.

This vidio includes some of the story and the songs of “See You Smile” and “The Bunny in My Backyard”.
